How can I learn to accept the fact that I will never have the "perfect" body?
In a span of two years I went through a horrible divorce, lost 100 pounds, met a wonderful man, had a baby boy, and lost 35 more pounds. These are all great things except now because of the weight loss I am stuck with areas that are flabby due to excess skin. Financially plastic surgery is out of the question. My self esteem has not always been top notch and now its even worse. I struggle with low confidence almost on a daily basis and it interferes with my personal life as well because my sexual confidence is really lacking. I do toning excercises but have little results, please help!

good job, you've taken the first step! keep talking about it, talk to your husband about it. eventually you will come to terms with it.

P.S. remember that everyone tends to judge themselves more harshly than others judge them.. in other words you see yourself worse than the rest of the world sees you, so relax

Do not stop your toning exercises or good diet. Your goal should be to look great in well fitting clothes. Try investing in some good quality body shaping underclothes. THEY DO HELP and are less expensive than surgery by a long shot. You now have a wonderful man who loves you. Embrace this fact!
Do what you can when you can. Look put together and confident during the day and just don't worry about the loose skin at night.
(Even super models take their make-up off at night!)
Your enter beauty will shine through for those who know you.

My best friend tells me all the time to "take care of the thing you can control and don't worry about the rest."

Oh hun i'm sorry this happen to you. Hate to assert this yet this will be extremely difficult to flow on from. undergo in recommendations that he will continually be in a particular position on your heart. you could make a exact relationship to a unique relative or concentration on some thing except your grandfather. good success :)
