Do you just scrape off that pesky dried out egg that sticks to the spatula and put it in the drawer, or do you re-wash it?
Just wondering...

If it pops off or scrapes off clean, I'll put it in the drawer. If it leaves anything at all behind, I wash it again, usually by hand.

I would scrape it off and just put your dish scrubber over it a little. You never know what is lurking under that dried egg. Next time it would be best to just rinse your dishes, not wash just rinse any exess food particles away for best clean dishes out of the dishwasher.

Dishwashers suck. You really have to rinse everything so well before loading it in the first place that you might as well wash it by hand. If by whatever chance there are things stuck to it. I take it out and wash it by hand.
My mother will keep the running it through the dishwasher. she won't touch it. A little high maintenance, but that works too.

I scrape it off and rinse under running water and rub the area to make sure there's no more egg and dry with a dish towel. LOL!

I usually scrape anything I find on the "clean" dishes, re-rinse and dry before putting it up.

I'd do both. Scrape it off, rinse it off then put it back in the dishwasher.

I'd re-wash it. I'm a huge germ-o-phobe...lol. My house isn't magazine-cover spotless, but I have to have some order or my whole day is just off. It puts me in a bad mood to have a messy house.

scrape it off and wash it. Remind me not to eat at your house.

RE-WASH!!!! You want to remove and residual bacteria left behind from the eggs or whatever. Don't risk making your family sick!
