Look I don't know the word "latino" means in your country, but yes, we are Latin Americans, because we speak Portuguese that is a Latin language.

"...but are they latinos or blacks...?"
My God, I see you one of the people that think that people in Latin America belong to a single race. Brazilians do not belong to a single race. In Brazil there are lots of whites, black, and mixed people, and because I am white it does not makes me not a latin american person. I forgot to say that there are lots of japanseses, indigenous people and arabs here too. And not all Brazilians whites have Portuguese ascents. Brazil received lots of immigrants from Spain, Italy and Germany not only Portugal.

I see you like football. Have you ever heard about:
Kaká (Milan)?
Juninho Pernambucano (Lyon)?
Cris (Lyon)?
Edmílson (Barcelona)?
Belletti (Barcelona)?
Juninho Paulista (ex-Atlético de Madrid)?
Taffarel (ex-goalkepeer)?
And so many others? Do they don't look white to you? 40% of Brazilians are white, we are not a race, please.

EDITION
I am a white Brazilian but a hate all whites in Europe and North America that don't know nothing that is happening outside their little countries.

Portuguese each and every physique is White/Mediterranean in terms of race, in simple terms like numerous different Southern Europeans. The term "Latin" basically applies to linguistic beginning place of romance languages - Portuguese, Italian, French, Spanish, and Romanian. some human beings blend up linguistic beginning place with race, yet they are 2 countless issues! Northern Europe = White/Nordics Southern Europe = White/Mediterraneans South and critical u.s. = Latinos/Hispanics

yea they are latin american, but they aren't black or hispanic, like some have already said. Brazil is actually a Portuguese country becuause it was colonized by Portugal in like the 1500's. Eventually they declared independence in the 1800's.

Althought they are in South American, they are considered Portuguese and speak their language.
