At the school I go to My Space, Reunion.com, Ringo, and almost any sight that has to do with communication is blocked. Frankly I'm suprised that this one isn't.

They do that to protect kids from talking to the wrong ppl on the net you know predators and such .Beside you are there to learn not play on the net.

Hey im an ict guy in school, and yes I agree with you that some of the sites that are blocked are so stupid but the point is you are at school to learn. and the sites get blocked because the school has an obligation to look after your safety and thats on the internet as well. many of these sites could allow you to access unapropiate material or even someone to contact you ho shouldnt. There are ways around it but I wouldnt try to find out hoe as if your caught thats your school carrer don the dain. trust me these sites wont be around along and you will soon wonder what all the fuss was all about.

some sites were banned in my college also and we could not use the messanger. I guess they do this so that people do not waste their time and misuse the computers as there is a long line of people waiting for using computers to get some information

they do it to protect you from sexual predators. you wouldn't like being raped and mudered.
