It depends on where you are in life. I was married at 19 and gave birth three weeks after I turned 21. My husband was a bit older, had a steady job with good medical care and housing ( he was military). I enjoyed having lots of energy for my baby and I was able to stay home with him. That being said. Once you are pregnant you can't take it back so enjoy being a mom whenever it happens to you because they grow so fast and you only get older. Most of my friends with kids my kids ages now are in their 40's and I have no problem with turning 29 this year. As long as you treat your baby like a mom is supposed and act like the adult you are nobody will think you are too young.

I am also 19 and pregnant with my first child. At first I was scared but I realized that I thought I was old enough to lay down and have sex then I was old enough for the responsibilities. I am currently 4 months pregnant a sophomore in college majoring in computer engineering and I will have my child 20 days before my 20th birthday so I know how you feel. If you have any questions or need some one to talk to just email me at attitude2005_va@yahoo.com or aim me at msvsu09@aol.com

I had my first when I was 18, and no one looked at me weird, it isn't as strange of a thing as you may think. 20 is an average age, there are more pregnant teens, young teens, who will be taking the grief, instead of you being 20. finding out your pregnant is a shock, to anyone, even if they have been trying for years, it is still a shock to the system, and takes some time to as just to realization of it.

who knows when they are ready. I doubt you will get funny looks and in the end it will be your choice. I thought I was too young a 27 but hey I don't regret a thing. It's hard being a parent but I would not change my girls for the world although as i type this they are arguing at the top of their voices even though they are in the same room.

I was 20 when I had my son. I was married and financially stable though. That makes a difference. I'm 21 now and my son is 11 months old and I wouldn't change a thing about my life. And no one treats me differently or has said I'm too young.

It all depends on how you feel about the whole thing. Don't care on what other people think, just care on what you think about this situation. I have taken a test that says you are? Age is nothing but a number and it just tells me on how long you have been alive. Are you ready to be a parent, that is the question?

20 is still young but, it's not 14 you'll be fine women younger then you have raised kids. Who cares if people LOOK FUNNY at you. #1 LIFE LEASON you can't please all the people all the time. I honestly don't even see that people would think funny.

If you don't feel its right then why did you spread your legs? Why not get birth control? Why not make sure he had a condom? Only you can make the right choise. Can you take care of the baby? Would the baby have a good home?
