In a span of two years I went through a horrible divorce, lost 100 pounds, met a wonderful man, had a baby boy, and lost 35 more pounds. These are all great things except now because of the weight loss I am stuck with areas that are flabby due to excess skin. Financially plastic surgery is out of the question. My self esteem has not always been top notch and now its even worse. I struggle with low confidence almost on a daily basis and it interferes with my personal life as well because my sexual confidence is really lacking. I do toning excercises but have little results, please help!

I feel your pain, I've been unhappy with my body for years, the only way I get through it is knowing that I am my hardest critic and everyone else likes/loves me just the way I am. It's all in my head is all I've been told so I accept that and as long as I feel good, I feel like I look good. I'm sure you are beautiful to everyone around you but yourself. Be happy!! Life is too short to worry about looks. (easier said then done I know)

Honey, you have to be happy with who you are. Your body is only a part of you, it's not all of you. Be confident, have self esteem about the great parts of you- your heart, your feelings, your pretty eyes, your kindness, etc. The weight loss didn't happen overnight and neither will the toning. Hang in there! Good luck to you..... You are wonderful the way you are!!!

sweety,
if u start counting your blessings in life you will see that it it just goes on.Baby, people say no one has a perfect body but i say you have if u believe you have!
u see dear,
there are millions of children born handicapped .
there are millions of soliders who lost their leg or hands for their country
there are millions of people who are mentally retarted, but you just have excess skin
sweet heart
you went thru a horrible divorce ,but god pulled you thru it .Then god brought an awesome guy to love, care and respect you for who you are.
maybe you may not find urself attractive but god finds you ever so beautiful ,if u look thru ur husband's eyes and see the way he sees you,
you wil understand you are worth much more then excess skin
u must love urself first dear then only can you enjoy the lovemaking with your hubby.
anyways congrats on loosing the 100 pounds ,i know you must have gone thru sheer hardwork to loose weight

Ugh, this is a tough one, because it's not rooted in reason, so there's no way to defeat this thinking by rational argument. I don't know what to suggest other than to continue doing what you're doing. Losing over 100 lbs is quite a feat, you have my admiration for that. Good luck.

Talk to your Doctor about this. Your body can adjust but it takes time. Took you along time to loose the weight. Will take alot longer for your skin to adjust.

Talk to your doctor. He or she just might have an answer for you.

Just realize that if you have a heart of gold that's what really matters. Nobody is ever really happy with their bodies. Your man loves you for you, don't stress.
