BEST: This past June in Asheville, North Carolina and the entire area around the Blue Ridge and the Smoky Mountains. It is such a picturesque place and I did something different every day: hiking, backpacking, river rafting, train riding, exploring the little towns and cities and much more. The Southern way of life is laid-back and peaceful. And the food is so delicious I gained lots of weight! Most of all, the weather was perfect. Only on the last day as I was heading back to the airport was it hot and humid, mainly because a storm was brewing in the Florida keys at that time.

WORST: Palm Springs, California, many years ago. My car got stuck in the sand on a dead end road in the middle of the night with nothing and nobody around except rattlesnakes. And I found that Palm Springs residents and visitors were just a little too snooty for my liking. Like I said, that was years ago. I hope things have changed since then, and from the rave reports I have heard from friends and others about Palm Springs, apparently it has.

Any vacation is better than a day at work, come on now. However you want a great vacation plan on going to Gay Days in Orlando and Disney World. There are 25000+ gay men all there to party. What more could any guy or gurl ask for. Great parties, great hunky bodies and there to have fun.

I flew from Sydney to LA last year. My original flight was cancelled due to engine troubles so they put us all on another flight with a different airline. Plane was full. I sat next to 2 accountants (yawn) on their honeymoon and the wife had gastro-enteritis. Blerk. Arrived in LA minus luggage and had to be stinky and jetlagged for 3 DAYS before a change of clothes turned up.
The rest of the trip was fab!

Best was a tour of the Outback a couple of years ago, got to see a part of my country not too many of us see.

I went to Paris as well, but my trip was not so great. On the way their i was sat next to a lady that was coughing the whole trip. After the long flight and jet lag, i had Bronchitis. The only thing i wanted to do for a day or so was rest and take it easy. So i didn't see much of anything except the hotel.

I just had the best vacation ever this year - Paris. Why? Because it's PARIS. lol. We only spent ten days in the city - took tours and went sightseeing and walked non-stop...and STILL didn't see everything we wanted to see. Spring in Paris - it was glorious!

Disneyworld. Took my wife there. The worst part was her arguing with me that I was too slow.
