How do I unprotect data (music) from a CD in order to copy it. I want to save it on my laptop but cannit?

It can be done but its not legal. Thats why I won't tell you that. but if its jusst for the compuer then try copying it to media player and then copying to cd its still protected but it serves its purpose.

go to tools and click options
go to the copy music tab and unselect copy protect music. this then allows you to download music from a cd and then do what you want with it. BE CAREFUL on what and how you use it. dont do anything stupid like sell for profit etc.

Rip the cd into computer so easy it takes the protection off.
