Why do women worry about making themselves look good? I believe I have "evolved" and now I question why women do that and for what purpose???
Do women really think that men focus on the face with paint on it???

it is not always about making men look at you; the process can make someone feel good because you have taken the time and care and attention. Looking good is general primal to a woman (read Survival of the prettiest by Nancy Etcoff) and make up can help in doing anything from enhancing features to exaggerating them. I don't believe there is anything wrong in this unless it looks like it has been trowelled on.

I don't care what anyone else thinks of me. What I do to my appearance, I do for me alone. I've always gotten bored with my appearance. In college, I cut or dyed my hair every other week. Since I'm growing my hair out to donate to a charity, I can't do too much with my hair, but I can change up my makeup. Perhaps you're looking at makeup as a chore. I look at it almost like a toy. You can create an infinite number of different looks using makeup. Some are subtle, some are bold. For me, I enjoy seeing what I can do with makeup. I've even done some intentionally crazy things just to make people wonder. And some days, I don't wear makeup at all. My use of makeup is an extension of my personality, and a joy in my life.

Men don't see the "paint". They see the package. They won't notice the lipstick, the concealer and the eyeliner. They will notice that you look good.
If you do not enjoy make-up for yourself that's fine. However many of us enjoy it just for ourselves.
Its not a question of evolving or not. Its just another choice we all make. I for one will choose my lipstick before I ever leave the house!

Many men think Jessica Simpson and other celebrities are hot but take away the hair, clothes and makeup, they look a lot worse. You have to look at a persopn before you get to know them Men should spend more time trying to look godd, they're lazy

I'm a believer that women that wear makeup are a product of the society that we live in. We grow up watching TV where commericals are constantly being played. Commercials about makeup make us feel like, if we had that prodcut, we could be that much prettier. Society and media make us feel like we need makeup in order to be accepted. Personally, I don't leave the house without "my face" on, and my husband hates it. : )

Make up makes you feel better about yourself and prettier. However you can be the prettiest woman on earth but if you have a bad attitude it changes everything. It is inside that counts not how you look on the outside.

because who in the world wants to look ugly??? if you look good you feel good . period. so if makeup makes you feel good , then wear makeup if you dont need makeup and you feel good with out it then more power to ya!
