This show gets noimations and critical praise - why? I absolutely cannot stand that show. Is there anyone else who hate this show?

I do work in an office. I do have a sense of humor (according to others). I just don't seem to get it or can't get into it. It happens to the best of us.

I've never cared for "The Office" and don't understand all the praise it gets... The only reason I've ever even watched it is because they will sneak it in between 2 "My Name Is Earl" episodes (which..btw...does not have "canned" laughter).. so I don't change the channel cuz I don't wanna miss "Earl" ...
I dislike the office to the point that it is almost painful to sit thru an episode.
Oh..and I work in an office.. have no characters remotely like the ones portrayed in that show.. thank goodness...

you have to have an office job to think the show is funny. Pretty much every office has at least one of the characters from the show in it which is why it's so hilarious. Plus it's always fun to laugh at how stupid your boss is :)

I agree. It's the most boreing, stupid, ignorant, show on tv, and I work in an office. I watched it a few times to give it a chance, but alas it only got worse.

The show is funny to me since i work in an office and the people on the show, mainly the boss, breaks so many rules - he is racist, sexist, non-C, rude, chauvinistic, etc. I cringe at the stuff he does and then remind myself it is only a show,,,,

like the others said, maybe you need a show that tells u when to laugh.
Is your office peaceful and everyone gets along? Maybe that's why you can't relate.
I dont see how someone could hate this show.

What is so great about "The Office"? It does not have a laugh track!!!! I'll watch it for that reason alone.

I don't like office depot is boring store its have alot office stuff you want ....so what....you need to go Wal Mart to shop for all you needs
