Yesterday was the 1st time I had intercourse and 3 hours afterwards I began to bleed and it wasn't the period kind. It lasted for a lil bit and my tummy was rumbling(like if I needed to do poop) and having soft cramps like if I was on my period (except my period cramps are killers), I couldn't sleep most of the night either. My last period was on Sept.19 and I'm not really sure how this whole ovulation thing works so I don't know if I had a good chance of getting pregnant. Anywho, my questions are:
Could I be pregnant this soon?
If so, how long should I wait until I test?
If not, then why did I bleed?

you could be preg. hun all you can do is take a home test to find out! IF your HCG level is high enough it WILL show for you 2 weeks after your period! BEST WISHES and IF the test come back positive sometimes the spotting in normal although you should really go to the docts!

If you're "not really sure how this whole ovulation thing works," probably you shouldn't be having intercourse. You usually don't get pregnancy symptoms right at conception...BUT if your last period was September 19 and you had unprotected sex yesterday it is very possible you are pregnant. The ovulation thing occurs, on average, 14 days after the start of your last period. If your next period doesn't come when you expect it...take a test. Then you'll know.

when I was 5 weeks pregnant with my daughter, her father and I had sex, and turned on the lights afterwards to find the sheets soaked in blood. Turns out the placenta dropped onto the cervix, and I was put on strict bed rest (only allowed up to pee) for 2 months until it corrected itself. But wait, yesterday was the first time u had sex.. like ever ?? If so, then you could have bled because of that.

Cramping and lightweight bleeding are relatively usual for the period of being pregnant and not anything to fear approximately. If cramps turn out to be extreme and bleeding darkens and will get heavier I could seek advice my physician ASAP or cross to the health facility, this would imply a miscarriage.

if this is truly your first time ever having sex in your life the bleeding is just your hymn being broken. Pregnancy not sure of when did you have protected sex? Are you trying to get pg? I believe you are not pg, but i could be wrong because it is around the time of ovulation.

take a test if you are late but I used to bleed during sex and it was due to a sore spot on my cervix. This is quite common and can be dealt with by having a little laser treatment to burn it. It doesn't hurt and touch wood I have had no problems since.

i'm a medical assistant... the bleeding could very well be because it was your first time. there a seal that is broken when penetration of any kind occurs, so don't panic. now if you are really concerned u can always seek medical attention.
but i honestly don't think u have anything to worry about
