I love America before we even get started, it still better then most other countries in the world but..........

Are we guilty for buying into this new World Order and corupting our own people?

Don't that make us just as other countries Now?

Letting just anyone come to America ?

Trading with other Countries?

Electing bad Office Officials?

Letting Non Born USA officals into office?

Non Born USA Officals in the FBI and CIA, or is the Insurance Policies paying off for the Terrist Attacks?

I too love america, It is a great and wonderful place, But I do not agree that immigrants have much to do with what is wrong with this country. Actually I believe that immigrants have a big part to do with the greatness of this place. Not that I think that an illegal should be here getting services for free without having to be a citizen regardless if they work and pay some taxes. I think without fresh blood coming into a country it tends to stagnate. Also you cant make an informed statement about any group of people with only your own experience to draw on. And this country has been going in the wrong direction for a lot longer than 7 to 20 years. My opinion is that it really started going wrong after ww2, Too much to explain so maybe you should do some research and try to have an open mind about what you find out.

Where America went wrong was in April of 1861 when Lincoln ordered the illegal invasion of the Sovereign State of Virginia.

Had that dispute been resolved diplomatically, we would still be the united States of America, rather than the United States of America.

The final nail was struck when the Sixteenth Amendment changed the method of choosing Senators from selection by State Legislatures to popular vote. This change eliminated all state representation in the federal government that was, at its inception, a creation of the states, and totally destroyed the very reason we have both a Senate and a House in the first place.

OK, I hate to break it to you American's but believe it or not America is not the best place to live in this world. Actually, not even in the top ten... and now that you have a dictator it's dropping even faster. Now I know your TV and your teachers tell you otherwise but the truth is (and all you have to do is travel a bit to realize it) America is about #15. Once again, I do know that you have been told your whole life that America is #1 and not only do you guys actually believe it - you believe it to the point that most of you can't name the Country above you because in your minds, it doesn't exist. Only America exists. After all USA USA USA goes a long way. Ah, the power of TV.
Oh, BTW why do you think all the rich and powerful of America spend hardly any time in it?

America's been in decline for alot longer than 7 to 20 years. The problem is that we've gone from a system of personal responsibility where the government is there mainly to stop violence and fraud, to a system where the government is there to take care of everyone.

Things won't get better until the citizens realize that the government is a really bad and inefficient provider of necessary services and cut it back to its original purpose: provide a national defense system, a police force, and a court system. Stop letting it regulate peoples private lives. Stop it from taking and redistributing 50% of the money people earn. Stop expecting it to take care of every bad choice people make. Stop it from meddling in other countries' affairs. Let charities take care of charity.

The system is corrupt and has been since Vietnam. I can not recall which of our who said this or exactly how it went but it seems very fitting in this day in age.

It went something like a democracy or nation such as ours may need to have a revolution every so often to keep the government in check and root out corruption.

I agree with you that America has gone down in recent years. Love this country and I am not blind. Please, people stop covering your eyes. We have been on top for so long. When you try to bully everyone in the school, one day the school conspires and gangs up on you. Surprise! I just think we try to dominate too much and the world has gotten hip to that and they're not having it anymore.

The lack of accountablility.

The President stays in office after being impeached.
The media gets to report whatever they want without proof.
Entertainers get away with a myriad of crimes (DUI, killing their spouses, etc.)
Teachers have affairs with their students.

It's the dumbing down of America. You can try as little as you want and get away with whatever you want. It's sad but until people get a little pride in themselves and start behaving as acceptable human beings, this will continue.

When the Constitution no longer mattered, and the branches of government started running roughshod on the Constitutional limits, our rights and our liberties & freedoms. Roughly, about 80 years ago, but it really accelerated thanks to Fascist Delano Roosevelt.

Now, all 3 branches of government and both parties pay lip service to the Constitution, yet they spend their time wiping their butts with it.
