All my babies hiccuped in the womb. It is kind of fun being able to feel that new life developing. Babies in the womb can swallow and sometimes they will even suck there thumb or fingers and doing so they will sometimes get hiccups. Good luck with your new baby.

It's very normal and perfectly okay for the baby. My first daughter used to get them all the time when I was pregnant with her. Once we were in a movie theater and you could see my stomach jumping every few seconds from her hiccups (the shadows thrown by the screen made it obvious.) Don't worry, your mom and the baby are okay.

You are very sweet. Worried about your mom. Don't worry babies hiccup in the womb. Ask your mom about the baby's daily routine and I bet you that she will tell you around the same time everyday baby does the same thing. Keep a journal if you want.

My baby hiccups all the time. I'm 30 weeks and the weirdest thing is when his head is down and I can feel the hiccups vibrating through my backside!
Its quite normal or so my midfwife tells me. Babies in the womb swallow amniotic fluid to practice their breathing/swallowing reflexes and their immature diaphragms sometimes go into hiccup spasms.
