i used to go to tools-internet options then change the home page option, now that is dimmed, and i cant change it?????

You may not have administrator privledges to do so. Is this your own PC? Or a PC at school or some other government office?
If it is your home PC, Log into the Administrator account and grant access to your personal user account.

If you are at work or school, that option can be blocked by Computer Services. I work for a school district and we blocked users from being able to change the home page. Students were going into the library and making inappropriate changes to the network.

you click on the tools button at the top of your screen then go to internet options and click it after jusk type the web site you want to go to in the top box thing
