Really, I mean like you have never taken a class, and you don't do it that much, and ya use like 2 fingers? I am serious. Is there anyone who can not really type?

I peck, and... for me, I just can't figure out how to spell, decide what I want to say, compounded with telling my fingers what to do, and them actually doing what I say. I totally sympathize with your situation, and want you to know that you are not alone.

I can't type and I've never taken a class. I use two fingers to type and have done all through school and college. I'm quite fast when I get going, but I make lots of mistakes. I'm hoping to learn to type this year.

I first learned to type in 1954, in the second grade because I was losing my vision... (ain't lost it yet but I can type faster than most people I know or have crossed paths with).

I've encouraged a slew of people to practice 15/20 minutes a day for 3 weeks with Mavis Beacon Teaches Typing CD, and everyone that has paid attention has come back to me to say, "Man, it was easier than you said!" Now, they communicate more via the Internet, they do more work on their computers (putting the 'puter to more use) and they surely make fewer errors, too! Students find that they now spend less time behind the keyboard and get their work done faster and with less effort once they learn to type EFFICIENTLY, instead of working hard.

It's a skill that they will have for the rest of their lives, too (and if you have arthritis, it will increase circulation and prevent the painful stiffness that comes with arthritis).

I type very well, but there is one person that I know that can't. My roomie. She's a wonderful anime artist & multi-talented...but she's never had a class & she types with the two-fingered hunt & peck method. She's not slow either, but the faster she goes the more errors she makes. LOL, I've never seen anything like it before & no matter how hard I try to teach her, or how much she wants to learn, she just gripes & gives up.

There are loads of people who can't type. Its a shame really, as they would find it so much easier to communicate via the keyboard, if they had learned to touch type.

Had a computer for almost 3 years now & still can't type. The old hunt & peck method works for me.

I'm not, I'm writing too fast (prof. type-writer). I'm writing with my feet and hand fingers (20 fingers)
