Try to take another class or two to get your GPA up then when you get there find something that is going to keep you going and remember your high school extra curricular look good on all college apps so make sure you list everything you were involved in that helps most schools make there decision

I think this is a big problem. When you try to transfer to USC they are going to look at your community college transcript. I don't think they will care at all what you did in High School. :(
So, no matter what you did in HS, if you messed up big time in CC, they are not going to take you very seriously as a student. And I don't think they are going to care about your Extra curriculars at all unless you were something spectacular, like national skating champion, or an international chess star or something really big deal.
All you can do is try. They might accept you, but if you get turned down, at least you know why. I think your chances of getting into USC, which is a respected school, are not too good. Probably you will have to settle for some other CA school that is not so competitive.
Even if you get into USC, you have to realize that they will throw you right out again if you dont get good marks. Why do you think things will be different there? Why do you want to go there, if you can't handle the work at CC? What will you do to motivate yourself.... you need to take a tough, honest look at yourself and decide how you are going to work things out....
Having said that, I repeat, if you dont apply, you wont get in. If you do apply, maybe theres a chance.... And if you do get in, don't blow it!!!!!

Think about wanting to go to USC and use that as your motivation. But its unlikely that you will do well at USC if you're bombing at community college. Maybe you should drop out and get a job, until you are more motivated. A few years working a crappy job for a crappy wage and trying to live off it will likely provide all the motivation you need.
