Wash good with a mild cleanser morning and night. Use a mild astringent. DON'T USE SCRUBS! They merely stimulate the sebaceous (oil) glands to produce more oil. If shine is a problem, use a powder throughout the day, but be sure to remove all make-up before bedtime, or blackheads and pimples can result. The good news is, people with oily skin usually experience wrinkles later in life that people with dry skin. DON'T USE ALCOHOL!

I have the same problem, I started using the 3 step Almay system. It consists of the face wash, toner and moisterizer, I actually saw it at Target and thought it was worth a shot. Very inexpensive. I has been working pretty good for me. I've been using it for about a month and I can tell the difference. I also use blotting tissues throughout the day, you can find the blotting tissues at Victoria Secret or at a "Body Shop" store, if there is one around your area.

Heres something i do everyday to keep my face from being oily! Trust me it works.

1. Squeeze a lemon (1 cup) into a bowl.
2. Mash up avacado and add it in there
3. Put it on your face and allow it to sit for 10 minutes.
4. Wash it off with hand soap.

Good Luck

Only use oil free products and make up. I used to have the same problem but started to avoid stuff that was not oil free and my skin has improved a lot.

See a dermatologist for a prescribed skin care regime. Cut down on fried/greasy foods and soda, drink lots of water, exercise.

put methylated spirits on it using cotton wool. i know it sounds strange, but it is a cleanser and will dry it out. it worked on my sista! also if you dont like the sound of that use clearasil products, but use them more than once a day. they work great.

Take a shower with cheap soap,
that will for sure dry out your skin.
Dont use too much lotion, or dont use any at all.
