It depends on what state you life in. There are different age limits on the "age of consent". Some is 16, 17, or 18. First off, personally, you don't need to be worried about no boys anyways, what about school? Your mother is looking out for your best interests. Trust me, been there done that honey. And when you date older guys they expect you to do "grown women" things. So don't be expecting no puppy love from a full grown dog. But back to your question, she might be able to file statuatory rape charges, but like I said it depends on where you live at. Do your research if you want to know the age limit to consent in your state. But you just should leave his *** alone and respect your mother's wishes.

Only if he has had sex with you then she could put him in jail. So she has no reason to put him in jail if you have not had sex. for all I know you are in an innocent relationship, keep it that way until you are 18 and you will be alright. It is either that ot you can move in with the guy b/c 4 years is grounds for being in a common law marriage, which is just like a regualr one minus the ceremony. So there are many ways it can work in your favor.

AH YEP SHE SURE CAN BECAUSE WHEN HE TURNED 18 YOU WERE ABOUT 16, AND THAT WOULD HAVE MADE YOU A MINOR AND HE COULD BE CHARGE WITH STATUTORY RAPE SO BE CAREFUL UNTIL THE 27 DAYS ARE UP AND STILL SHE COULD DO IT. BECAUSE YOU ARE AND WERE A MINOR WHEN IT STARTED AND IF YOU HAD SEX THEN THE CHARGES COULD STICK LOL

Depends on the state, (legal age of consent) and whether she can prove you had sexual relations.
In either case I would not hang around your house until you turn 18.

The legal system is looking at it differently today.. She cannot have him arrested but she can make it unbearable for you to not see him anymore.
