I made up a holiday, called Shela, in which I celebrate many cultures. I pick a culture to celebrate every few weeks from October to February. It brightens my fall/winter.

My first one is going to be Mexico this year.

Which other cultures should I celebrate?

http://www.happyshela.com/ <-- I've celebrated Cambodia and Switzerland so far.

I would prefer celebrating the endangered cultures of the world. You may be doing your bit to save them. My personal preference is Tibetan Buddhism.

Well, since you asked, how about Peat Snort Day? I tend to celebrate this made up holiday as the first day it is cold enough to light a peat fire indoors in Finland. No, I don't live in Finland. No, I don't light peat fires. However, it is a good holiday. I think it should be celebrated on October 3rd. Hey, that is today! Happy Peat Snort Day! You might have a good snort of Scotch or Finnish vodka and light a bit of peat. Play a H.I.M. CD in celebration.

Truthfully you are the only one who can answer your own question. We can only give you opinions based on our own bias. I however choose to answer a bit differently.
You need to look with in yourself. See what cultures interest you and why, and then use that interest to plan your holiday. And use it to seek the knowledge behind why you were interested in that culture in the first place.
And now for my personal bias. I Have enjoyed looking at Eastern India, Japanese, New Zelland, Egyptian, and Brazilian culture. I count myself rich for having done so. And with each culture I looked at i had my own reasons for the knowledge i gleaned.

I don't know, but you are hilarious. That is an awesome idea. Hahahaha, sounds like a good way to get a day off from work, especially if your boss is a hypersensitive ultra-paranoid politically-correct liberal.
