Spooky...I just put it on for the first time this autumn...Its just too cold tonight (I have a jumper on...) still bare legged though....guess its bye bye to that now.... soon be lighting the fire too.... sigh....

It's southeast here. I am very tempted to turn on the heat tonight but I think I'll try to resist the temptation. I'll just put on an extra layer of something to keep myself warm. Yes, this summer is gone.

I had a lovely summer's day in Shaldon on the beach, walked up the hill and sailed on the ferry, but yes tonight is cold, so heating is on.

Had the heating on for the first time at the weekend. All the leaves are changing. My flipflops have been ditched and I was looking at tights and socks in Tesco today! GUTTED!

Was just thinking about it actually, but am reluctant because I know I wont turn it off again for another 6 months now, so am opting for a jumper instead. Can't feed the electiricty fat cats too much can we!

Think tonight's going to be the first night I put mine on too! Woke up this morning and the house was so cold. I do live in Scotland mind you!

Can't speak for the UK... although I'd love to be there right now, but here in Rhode Island, it is HOT. 75 today, 80 tomorrow... then we will get back to normal!

What! With Gas & Electicity prices what they are? No, it will be cup a soups and layers of socks and jumpers first before I do that. Besides, this isn't cold yet.

Just switched storage heaters on in pool room, should be cosy in there tomorrow. Rest of the house , not yet.
