What's it worth to you or your sister? If you have the cash to afford new, add some Bars Leak to the radiator and trade it in. If you can't afford a new or slightly used ride then get it fixed, 120k on an Oldsmobile is not that bad but it may start to nickle and dime you to death, afterall it is an Olds!

can you afford a newr car payment and insurance ?? might want to spend the money and have a car with no obligations to any other then a credit card for the repairs - then you are home free again.

or just drop the money to a new car

depends on if you can fix it or not. if you are paying someone then it probably won't be worth fixing but if you can fix it it might.
