I'm old enough to have been at both and I would have to say live aid queen were exceptional and prompted me to see the queen gig in 86 with Status Quo the Alarm and the great Original INXS as i have seen bands like the clash the sex pistols and many more Queen outshone and out sang all of them.

Live Aid - nothing like that had ever been seen before and it made history. I remember watching every single minute of it on TV into the early hours of the morning. It was the starting point for so many aid events, and new technology (at the time) meant it went global.
