What are the requirements to get Married in a Church? I got a marriage dissolution, will I be able to get married in a Church? I got it almost 3 years ago and I am planning my Wedding for Next year? Is there anything you have to sign at the Church while you are getting married or is all the paper work done before? Please advise.

All the paperwork is done BEFORE the actual date of ceremony. YES, you WILL be able to get married in a church even after the dissolution. (I was able to in a Catholic Church), however, you may have to go through the Church's PreMarital counseling sessions. When you set this up, they will ask your date that you want to be married, the Priest/Pastor/Deacon will go over everything you need to do (which isn't much) just follow their instructions and everything will work out. CONGRATS!
Oh yeah, you need to be a church member as well.

well depends on the religion of the church.

catholic churches do not recognize a dissolution of marriage, once you are married you are married for life, no dissolutions or divorces or widows.

at a methodist church, you must be a widow in order to remarry. Nothing else counts.

as far as anything else, i don't know.

You don't always have to be a member of a church to get married in one. Some churches charge a fee if you aren't a member. I don't see why it would be a problem to get married again in a church. I guess it depends on the religion also.

Your past doesn't matter. You just need to get the marraige license, and the pastor who marries you has to sign it along with your witnesses. Nothing special needed unless the church you are getting married at has a requirement such as a meeting with the pastor, or something. Best wishes to you!

My first marriage was in a church. He is catholic and my family is nothing. We rented a Baptist church. We were not memebers, but we did have to pay a little to the church for renting it. They even provided a minister.

Talk to whoever at the church where you want to get married and see what their requiremnets are.

You need to talk to the Rev/Pastor. Some pastors have a policy. Each one is different.
