Guppies, mollys, platys and swordtails are all live-bearers. They will get along well with your betta, all you need is one male for every three females, and a whole ton of plants for the fry to hide in.

Livebearers (molly, guppy, swordtail, platty) are very easy to breed. Breeding bettas is easy compared many fish, but that's only as it's very very hard to breed most fish.

Platies are the easiest. the other live bearers mentioned above are easy too, but i have had the least amount of problems with platies.

I think mollies and platys are very easy. Even guppies. They are constantly having babies. My guppy had 22 babies at one time.
