I think they realize later on in the relationship when things start getting serious that this guy is not addiquite for a long term relationship the way he is. In the beginning he might just be irresponsible, spontaneous and fun. 3 years later when you are thinking about marriage you realize irresponsible won't raise a family and spontaneous could get scary if it were due to quitting a job or doing what he wants when he wants. Everthing changes when seriousness comes into the picture.

Well, look at all the fairy tales about how LOVE conquered all - that's what a lot of women think - that love will (eventually) make the guy just like her dreams.
Don't you remember the Frog Prince? Goes the other way too - men always wanting their woman to be like their dream girl.

because like it or not, like men, women loves challenges too. women find it a challenge for them to be finally change a man. men find chasing a women who's difficult to get a challenge too. so there you go. no running from the fact that both genders love challenges. haha.

Because most women like to be in control! Why even date someone that there are major things you don't like about them or their lifestyle?
Pick someone who best compliments you and your goal and lifestyle.

It's a control issue... Me personally, if you don't like the way a person is, don't be with them... But there are women that like to control and manipulate...

this is one of the biggest problems in relationships. Guys take girls as they are but girls seem to have another plan, to change a guy and make him something different, which is dishonest.
