Who says Americans are afraid of Bin Laden? It seems to me that he has been cowering in the mountains for the past several years. America, in general, is far more concerned with the broader war on terrorism and with the efforts to keep the lunatic fundamentalists from gaining control in Iraq.

I'm 100% American and I'm Not afraid of Osama Bin Laden... In my opinion Osama Is a Scared little **** *if he is still alive*... My 5 year old daughter is more threatening.... Now the idiots that actually commit terror attacks scare me because they are guided by stupidity... Any religion that promotes death of another living creature needs to be flushed down the toilet...

Allow me to propose an analogy.

I'm not afraid of smallpox. The likelyhood that I will be exposed to it, here in my city is extremely remote, approaching zero probability.

But I support the efforts to eradicate it, worldwide. No one should have to suffer the deadly effects of smallpox, when there is the technology to prevent this suffering.

I am not afraid of bin Laden, but I, a left wing, liberal, believe that he does not deserve to breathe free air and promote the killing of others for his political or religious ideology.

And, I cannot accept ANY argument that indicates that the thousands of people (including children) who died on 9/11 were all enemies of his kind and deserved to perish.

Just a little sidebar: Does anyone else, here, believe that guy in Pennsylvania terrorized those children, as he tied up those little girls, and shot them, execution style, one by one? How do we suppose that LAST little girl felt, as he came closer and closer? Were his reasons any more valid, (or less valid) than those of bin Laden or countless others?

Americans are not afraid of Osama Bin Laden as a individual. An individual he can be reckoned with. What Americans are afraid of is what he stands for. He has many many followers who embrace Islamic Militant actions. And as terrorists, this is what frightens American people. Terrorists don't play by the rules, they kill indiscriminately(women, children...etc). By killing Americans in any way shape or form, they believe that this what will bring them the gifts of Allah(their god) in the afterlife.

Real Americans arent afriad of him! It's these peace loving live on cloud nine people that started all this afriad of Bin Laden crap. We need to remember they came here FIRST!! They started this war and the men and women over there serving to protect us need to know that we love them. But also there are some people in America that need to understand that those men and women chose to serve America thats their job, and it is a risky one but thats what they wanted to do.

I think Americans are afraid of him cuz he is a finatic. He doesn't care who he hurts or kills to get his evil point across. He says he does this in the name of God, but I think he is just evil and sadistic and very much delusional bout God.Anyone who is that big of a nutball will stop at nothing to find a way to get to Americnans. That is why he is so scary. The man is a coward and seriously wacked, not to mention ugly as sin.

I'm not afraid of him at all.

He makes me sick...like looking at a serial killer that preys on innocent people.

No fear, just a desire to see him dead and gone.

He messed with the wrong country.
Americans are the best in the world at payback. He's toast.
