Synopsis

The series tells the story of people who "thought they were like everyone else ... until they woke with incredible abilities". A Japanese salaryman discovers that he can manipulate time and space, a struggling New York artist can paint the future while using heroin, a high school cheerleader discovers she can recover from any injury, a single mom realizes she has "a powerful alter ego", and a police officer who can read minds. The premise is that these people have a role in saving humankind.[2]

According to the official NBC website, not only do the characters discover what having superpowers means to them, but also uncover a larger picture concerning the origin of their superpowers. The characters eventually become involved in each other's lives as they attempt to evade the series antagonist, who wishes to harness their "super DNA" for his own ends.

Interesting show- it has kind of a feel similar to X-Files Season 1.

I just hope they haven't stretched the storyline too thin and lose viewers because it's taking too long to unfold.

I also think Friday night is a bad slot for a new show- Galactica owns that, and will crush any competition....

Yes i really liked it, it seem now that the main networks are working to keep up with the big ones on cable (USA and FX for example) i really like how they are keeping some of the peoples powers kinda secret a little bit instead of just sticking it right in your face from the start. i will watch it unless they screw it up some how.

I loved the show as well. I think it is a sleeper hit. I liked the characters, the show's premise and the Japanese guy the most. Every time he got happy he said Yatta! (An excited way of say yes, or alright.) lol

I did like it. However, I can't wait to see how all of them will use their powers together. It's a little confusing as to what the lady with her mirror image is going to do, but she looks destructive. Tune it.

I saw the pilot last night, thought it was good; then the end just flat out blew me away, with the older brother being the one who could fly and him dropping the younger brother. Now that's good drama.

I loved the first episode, but the second one wasn't that great. I'll probably watch one or two more to see if it's still worth watching.

i liked the first episode. i plan to watch it. although it does look a little like they took ideas from marvel and dc comics. hopefully it wont be just another bad "superhero" show, like the batman movies and the hulk were.
