i have these advertisement people who keep e-mailing me and i want it to stop

You'll need to mark them as spam.

Please enable your spam filters and mark the unwanted mail as spam.

It's a tough fight, but if you stick in there long enough, you could win.

Alternatively, you could open a new e-mail Account and ensure that you don't let any spam get you there; by using it only to communicate with those you know very well through this id.

Which e-mail service do you use? Are you using an online e-mail service (e.g. Yahoo! Mail, Gmail or Hotmail)? Or, are you using a desktop e-mail client (e.g. Outlook, Outlook Expres or Thunderbird? I can help you better if I knew which service you use. All e-mail services have some form of spam filter(s) but they all work differently, which is why I need to know what service you use.
