against the law to own i mean is it against the law to have one just in your house to shoot cans and stuff or is it ilegal to even own one plus im 16 will my age matter?

Depends on the county or town one lives in. While not illegal to own, may be illegal to shoot. Age is also regulated.

it depends on the use, for your entertainment at home. do not take it out and use it on animals and people.u haveto be responsible with having one cause they can be mistaken for real guns and cause confusion
