Disgusting? NO!!!!! Winning is more important that ANYTHING now in America...beg, borrow, CHEAT, steal, whatever it takes to get the job done.

Maybe he should earn "sportsman of the year" award, and let's give this loser a ticket-tape parade in the HALL OF SHAME! A guy like this should never be allowed to play sports again. Fire the a$$hole...

Who is it that said:"it's not how you play the game...it's only if you win"?

I'm from Nashville and I agree with you completely. His behavior is an embarrassment to the team, and the league.

Wait a minute. A lot of things happen in the heat of the moment. The NFL commissioner did right by coming down with a hefty suspension. The only problem I have is that he does not have to do community service and attend anger management classes. This is not the first time he has not been able to control his temper.
You can bet when he returns to the lineup he is a marked man. If it happens again then he's history. However, you always get a second chance.

To his credit, he completely owned up to the behavior and characterized himself in the lowest possible terms. He's lucky he didn't crush the guy's eye. It's the first time I can remember an athlete in the public eye owning up to his behavior and accepting the consequnces.

I'm actually suprised it doesn't happen more often.

I'm more appalled by the off-field behavior. I can't believe how many people are sticking up for that dirt-bag Steve Foley. He's been a bad citizen everywhere he's been.

I'm a Tennessean who loves the Titans but I was so ashamed of Haynesworth's temper tantrum Sunday. Coach Jeff Fisher had steam coming out his ears because he has always stressed good sportsmanship and mature behavior. I agree with you that no matter what the penalty for Haynesworth, it won't undo what he did to hurt the entire Titan team and all its fans.

Don't 'bash' this player. Instead find whoppertunities to be kind towards others, knowing the seeds you plant will bloom elsewhere.

I believe Haynesworth should be suspended for the rest of the season without pay. He should be informed that he will be closely monitored by the league. if there is even the slightest infraction, he should be banned for life.

I think this gives us a pretty good look at what we may have had in store, had Lawrence Phillips or, Maurice Clarette made it.
