i havent had email for along time and am longing forward to getting this service. Will I be able to connect to the internet ?

Yes, you can make a email on someones computer. It will be the same on your computer and any that you log into. You must be hooked up to the Internet before you can email.

You can connect to the Internet from home, yes and check your email. You either can use a modem & phone line or a faster method DSL or Cable.
You need an ISP (Internet Service Provider), and software setup. Generally you can setup Microsoft Outlook as your mail program no matter which ISP you sign up with. Their customer service will give you specific instructions on how to setup mail.
