he was an awesome player for the kangaroos, but has spent a few years as an assistant coach under paul roos at sydney. sydney won the premiership last year and only just lost to the eagles in this year's finals, so his contribution to their success must be significant. clubs needing coaches usually go for those with experience as coaches or assistants, and he is one of only a few in this category wanting a senior position.
