i have a yeast infection for about a year now. I been to many gynecoligists, first i did the over the counter, didn't work. Then prescribed anti fungal meds (spornox, diflucan), didn't work. Then the doctor painted me purple with venitian violet, and had me take boric acid, that didn't work. I'm in a dilema. It sucks having this...its gross. I changed my diet, everything. If you have any suggestions please let me know. Oh yeah i got tested for hiv and diabetes all normal :)

Try taking acidophilus. You can get it at any healthfood store or supplement shop. Basically it replenishes the body with "good bacteria" that are needed to fight candida excess.

Many of these stores also sell candida/yeast cleanses and that may help also.

In addition cut refined sugars and flours out of your diet (think white bread, cookies, cakes etc) These are like superfoods to candida and can keep yeast infections chronic.

Are you on birth control? Some birth control methods make women more succeptible to yeast infection, particularly spermicides that are on condoms. My gynocologist put me on progesterone only pills because I couldn't handle estrogen and because spermicides were giving me difficult to manage yeast infections.

The acidopHiles pill from a health food store and eating live culture yogurt is an excellent suggestion. Your ph is out of whack.

Avoid any antibiotic prescriptions. Every time I have to take one for anything I get a rip roaring yeast infection. Then it takes forever to get rid of it.

I keep baby wipes in the bathrooms for hygiene reasons. This helps . Good Luck.

Yeast infections can be caused by stress. Try to relax and stop worrying about it.

Is your doctor positive that it's a yeast infection and not something else?

I think you found the adequate person! <<< It sucks so bad to try getting rid of this disgusting plague. I'm on my fourth otc creme treatment right now, but this time i'm also taking AZO, and acidophillus tablets, and when im done with the 7 day, i'm doing an extra 1 day treatment and see if it works. I'm running out of options. I might just have to buy some of that medicine they sell on the internet that claims to "cure your yeast for good!"

Wish you luck!

I will try to keep it simple. Your metabolism is basically the rate at which your body burns calories to create energy. So the faster your metabolism, the faster you burn calories and the easier it is to lose unwanted weight. To boost your metabolism naturally you just need to eat the right foods.

You can sit down and literally eat a 1,000-calorie dinner and yet be absolutely starving just a few hours later and the reason is simple: Because your body didn’t get what it needed in those 1,000 calories so it sends signals to your brain telling you to ingest more calories and thus, the late-night cravings. That means that the surest way to end those late-night cravings and keep your weight loss goals on track is to eat a more balanced, nutritious diet that actually gives your body what it needs.

It's VERY EASY to lose weight if you eat the right foods. Check out Dr. Charles Livingston's video here: http://www.drcharleslivingston.tv - it will blow your mind.

Have you tried taking acidophilus/multidophilus supplements? You can also try eating a lot of plain or vanilla yogurt - with low sugar and live/active cultures. Another thing would be to cut out all flour/refined sugar from your diet if you haven't already done so.
