I'd have to assume Axl.

He basically fired everyone from the band and if he has the rights to "Welcome to the Jungle" he probably has rights to all of the GNR songs.

I'm assuming this because he played "Welcome to the Jungle" with the new band at the 2002 MTV VMAs. It was decent but doing it with the whole original band would've been much better.

I'm looking at the CD now (Appetite for Destruction). The CD was made in 1987, every song on it is copyrighted by The David Gelfen Company.
