The level of hormone in the ring could be wrong for your body. You might need to find another form of birth control. I'm not too familiar with NuvaRing, but if they come in different levels of hormones you might want to try one with less estrogen.

I had something similar happen to me while on the pill. I was on tri-cyclen and I got really bad cramps, worse than my normal period cramps and I also got nausea when I started it again each month. My doctor told me it was because there was too much estrogen in the pill for my body.

I would go and ask your doctor about another option, you shouldn't have to live with that. My Dr. switched my pills to Alesse and it is great now!

girl go to the doctor!!! you could be having some allergic reaction or something. does it happen all the time or is it just after insertion. if it is your body may just be adjusting to the ring. just try and talk to your doctor. it happened to me on the shot and my body had to adjust so just talk to him and find out if it is just someting simple.

Try one with lower hormones.
