Genetic mixing of otherwise geographically separated members of a species will certainly create new genotypes and new phenotypes. And if the new phenotype somehow has some extra advantage above and beyond all the original unmixed, then it could end up dominating the gene pool. Evolution would then have "happened."
But one generally would not expect the mix to dominate (although it could sometimes dominate by chance, just not generally), because these disparate genotypes are different because they have been selected for certain different environments. E.g., nearer the equator tends to be darker skin. And many other little differences. You start putting all these genotypes together willy nilly, and you will almost certainly end up with someone not optimized for any environment. So, to the extent that mixing makes any effect at all on our evolution, it is possible that it will eliminate some of the special traits our different races have evolved for our different ancestral environments.
But, then again, we are no longer living in those ancestral environments. We're living in our human-created environments, with different sets of selection pressures. And given this, I have no idea whether a mix will have any advantage, or disadvantage.
(I should mention that mixes do have well-known advantages for resistance to pathogens.)

Interracial mixing is not the next evolution. Although it creates something new, the species is not evolving in function, only asthetics. To evolve in function, it would have to be important enough to a great number of people to permanently change their behavior. For example, if people wanted to live in water, whether in the ocean or in fresh water, they would either need to find a way to hold their breath for much longer, or to develop a means of breathing in water, whether that would involve some sort of surgery or something else. And over a great deal of time, with the generations that follow agreeing with the idea of living in water being important, eventually it would be completely normal for humans to be amphibious, and in the mean time, we would notice changes in our phisiology as a species over time. Evolution is a choice that our society/planet/species makes whether consciously or not, and as long as something is important to us, it will be a part of our identity.

I am over 30 and I recently started to hear abut this race business - I used to categorize people by their languages - meaning my ability to speak to them or not. I never thought abo8ut people in terms of races.
To answer your question you will still see people frokm differnt races and different features but I can assure you that you won't see new races suddenly appearing and remmeber that all the hair dying the facial lifting and nose jobs are not in our genetics meaning that people will remain the same still you may want to consider that according to the media which os defining beauty and perfection all the time - the good looking ones are the ones who are likely to have a mate and have decendents.
The media and its standards is what you can see in the movie Moonraker - Drax

Obviously, interracial mixing creates "new" types of humans, but it does not mean that the human race will evolve. Did humans form by mixing gorillas with capuchins? I think not.
