Do celebrities really know what's going on in the "real world"?

Question

I have doubts about them.Most of them are extremely fake(personality/looks wise).
They spend so much time in this imaginary world of songs/movies...I wonder if they have time to think for themselves. Some of them just comes off as dumb because of their choice of language/communication skills. Ie: Paris Hilton(like this, like that...like like like.), Nicole Richie, Jessica Simpson, Britney Spears,etc...and the list goes on!
And when they can't figure things out...they get other people to think for them/take actions for them. How are they going to survive this world when all of this fame is gone sooner or later? Yes, I am jinxing them!Lol.
A majority of them are also badly uneducated. Don't get me wrong! I have witnessed these things I stated in interviews, in addition, their own actions!

davidbeck, yes, i would be lying if i said i wasn't a bit jealous. why? because half or maybe a quarter of them in Hollyweedland do not have to work for anything at all(some...in their entire lives). Yes, I am aware that they were normal...but that was not my point...I am talking about NOW.

Yes and No. Some celebrities like Oprah for example, used to be a normal person who actually worked hard to get where they are and she does a lot to help those who don't have a lot of oppurtunities around the world. Now if you said Paris Hilton, a girl who is dumb as rocks has done nothing to earn celebrity status besides being born with a famous last name and partying every night, then I would say no.

I'm sure that some of them do but of course those are the same people who don't say anything. The people that talk about politics and problems in the world are the people that are trying to sell records or movie tickets. To me, not saying anything makes that more of a statement. Maybe I'm wrong.

The only connection celebrities have to the real world is through the media and what's told to them by others. they haven't got a clue what the real world is like. if they had to live as an ordinary person for one week, they would crack! some of them like to say that they are like everyone else. how can they be? Wayne Newton's daughter asked him for money to buy a loaf of bread at the supermarket. he offered her hundred dollars and asked if it was enough? He didn't have a clue!

They are danger to the society because they kind of implying that being dumb and famous are the cool thing to do. Unfortunately, we live under the media coverage we cant run from it and at the same time a marketing could do anything to one person just do be famous and got nothing to say.

not really, most country singers do, cos they write brill songs on things that go on today. like garth brooks. one celeb tho fort dat goin to record a song was hard work. if she thinks thats hard, put her in an office or summit

"Celebrities" were normalpeople like u and me, but they asked for more, they worked harder and yes, they are luckier.

there are some of them dont worth it, but most of them are EXTRAordinary people!
