the first two started teething pretty hard at three months and both had six teeth by six months of age. My third on only started teething when she was about four and half months old and didn't have six teeth intil she was a year old. It really varies.
Just keep your sweetie hydrated and try to keep the drool from rashing up on the cheeks (I used a little dab of unscented petroleum jelly on the chin and patted with a soft cotton cloth.)
Ask the ped dr or pharmacist about some tylenol, if they are hurting or running fever with teething. They love to have a teething ring (your finger seems to be the hands down fav.!) and a frozen wet wash cloth can be helpful.

It differs with every child. My oldest daughter got her first two teeth (yes two at a time) when she was 8 months old. My son got his first two when he was 4 months old. My second daughter didn't get her first tooth until she was 14 months old. And my youngest daughter got her first tooth at 9 months.

My girls were around six months also. Were I'm from, they say that when a baby starts to advance at an early age, then they are trying to move out of the way for another one. HAHAHAHA! I didn't think it was funny either when it was said to me. But seriously, your baby is perfectly fine, sometimes babies just develop very fast. So be sure to keep your eyes open at all times so you don't miss anything!

My son was between 5 and 6 months old. All babies grow and develop at different paces so no matter what age the child is as long as he or she is health then it's fine.

My daughter got her first tooth at 4 months, my friends baby was 10 months. I guess they all get teeth at different times.

At 4 months my doctor said my little girl is teething. She will be 8 months on Monday and STILL no tooth. I'm beginning to wonder if it will ever come in.
