I went to Budapest in 97 and I could not believe how helpful and friendly the people were. Everyone went out of their way to help us. If someone saw us with a map they would come up and ask if they could walk us to where we needed to go. I though they were trying to pull something but everyone was just so kind. I always tell people to go to Hungary. I think Hungary and Thailand are the friendlist countries in the world.

I know tons of hungarians and married into a hungarian family. I would say for the most part they are nice, friendly people, although their language is very harsh. I have met quite a few that have terrible attitudes, but any race of people has that.

Hungarian people are really nice seriously always saying hello and friendly and polite i went in August and i never met a unhappy person really. They love the english to and they try to speak the best of there ability in English

ive only ever met one hungarian person.. she was a girl.. her parents were born there.. she was born in flordia..
she was very racist.. i'm not sure if that has anything to do with being hungarian.. or if its an ameciany thing
i'm not quite sure..
i'm sure hungarians are nice people. i don't want to paint them all with the same brush
