That depends on your reason for not liking that culture. If it is based on irrational reasons, such as they are too short, or they have big noses, then I think that is wrong. If you dislike a culture for moral reason then I think that is acceptable. In El Savador, they have a culture that is raised and bred to torture people. Their whole life is devoted to learning how to torture people in the most painful ways possible. I do not agree with that, therefore I dislike that culture.

Immanuel Kant was an evolutionary philosopher in the 18th century. Among many other things, he wrote three formulas on life. His first formula was the formula for universal law. More specifically it was a universalizability test you can take by yourself to see if it was morally correct. It went like this.

An agent's maxim, according to Kant, is his "subjective principle of human actions" — that is, what the agent believes is his reason to act. The universalizability test has five steps:

Find the agent's maxim. The maxim is an action paired with its motivation. Example: "I will lie for personal benefit." Lying is the action, the motivation is to get what you desire. Paired together they form the maxim.
Imagine a possible world in which everyone in a similar position to the real-world agent followed that maxim.
Decide whether any contradictions or irrationalities arise in the possible world as a result of following the maxim.
If a contradiction or irrationality arises, acting on that maxim is not allowed in the real world.
If there is no contradiction, then acting on that maxim is permissible, and in some instances required

Yes. But that happens only when you are a ignorant, when you are not interested in learning about that culture or when you are "blind". Look at the american citizens: they hate all the islamic world becouse the government says so. Theu do not know that islam is one of the oldest cultures in the world, a lot older then christianity. Ok, I agree that they are a lot out of this world, by not respecting the human rights and all those things. But that is their choice. No one should be aloud to do what the American President is doing: imposing their belifs on others.

People only hate or dislike people when they don't know them. Once you get to know people you find they are very similar to yourself. I have become good friends w/a Pakistani guy. I now realize that what the media portrays and who alot of them are is not the same. Get to know people before you judge. I did and it helped me alot.

You can generally form an opinion but it will be inaccurate because when you get close to them and get to know them you will realize how wrong you were.

Hate is a strong word. That's prejudice.

But form your opinion on individual basis. That's knowledge.
