Sep and Oct? Mosquitoes? Where do you live? Are you sure they're mosquitoes and not crane flys?

Mosquitoes can breed just about anywhere, ponds, buckets, tires...anything that holds water. They could even breed in the pools up in your gutters. Find them.

But of course, you'd have this problem all summer...not just Sep and Oct. I bet they are crane flys. Crane Flys don't bite, in fact, they don't even eat. At this stage, they just fly, mate and die.

There are various systems to get rid of mosquitoes ranging from a few hundred to several thousand dollars. But the best way is to eliminate their breeding grounds. Mosquitoes lay their eggs and begin their lives in standing pools of water. Eliminating these sources will cut down tremendously on the number of mosquitoes.

Also, there are many species of birds that feed on mosquitoes. Find out what kind are native to your area and figure out how to attract them.

Don't know about all of your acre, but Walmart has a gizzmo in the hunting section that when turned on no bug a biting will come within 15 feet. $25 That's a fact! Use em all the time when hunting, fits in you pocket, just turn it on, set it down and worry no more.

1. Exterminator

2. Cold Mist Fogger if legal by you.

3. Bat Houses.

You'll never get rid of them once and for all unless their habitat is destroyed. They are part of your ecosystem.
