have to make Full Metal Alchemist Costumes for my kids for Halloween this year and their are NO patterns available for Anime character costumes.
Anyone have any ideas for both Edward's costume and Mustang's?
I was thinking about a Confederate soldier uniform, for Mustang's uniform but it still doesn't seem quite right?
Any ideas would help as I am an okay seemstress but I NEED A PATTERN! Any ideas on how I can figure out a formula for making something tailored without one? Any secrets?

Last year was much easier... they went as Mario and Luigi.
Overalls, red hat green hat, gloves and t-shirts.
This will not be as easy!

You can't find Full Metal Alchemist costumes? Ok...you didn't go to the comic convention this year did you? If you'd gone you might have gotten some FMA costumes
And yes do a red cloak with black lining for Ed or something
ANd do a blue soldier outfit with brass buttons
