I suggest you read about the Aspect Experiment, and see what you think. Alain Aspect performed an interesting experiment in
relativistic physics (quantum level), and the results were astonishing...Basically, there were two possibilities from his data..
(1) Time travel IS possible, or
(2) There is no reality outside our perception
The latter suggests to me that God has created a great computer game, and that nothing we think we experience is real except in our vision of it.
The former indicates that, contrary to the traditional thinking, time travel IS possible.

If Steven hawking is correct, it's physically possible but too many paradoxes are broken, and therefore there must be something we are overlooking....
in the quantum realm, it's definitely possible, but you can't take any 'matter' through time. (on the other hand in the quantum realm more or less anything is possible, but what are the chances?)
My personal opinion... I think it's only a 'matter' of 'time'

some physicist (saying some because i don't know who it was) theorised that time flows like a stream in the universe and we all happen to be travelling forward, so there's nothing to stop someone travelling backwards. i don't really know to believe it or not. Make up your own mind.

If you travel faster than light then the light you will see light from previous times and so travel backwards in time. Presumably you can turn the arguement around.

It will never happen in our dimension due to the paradoxes involved. Now if there are parallel universes anything is possible.
