I think it depends on how susceptible you are to being scared. If you get too worked up it could affect your blood pressure. Call your doc and see what she says, they will often answer questions over the phone.

I live in Southern California and went to Knott's Berry Farm's Halloween Haunt when I was about 7 months pregnant. My doctor said I could go but to not to run away where I could trip and fall and to be careful about breathing in the fake fog they create to make it look more scary. I had my husband walk behind me with his arms around me so he could help me if I tripped (it's really dark in some of those mazes and haunted houses). I would recommend trying to go when it isn't super crowded and just being extra careful. Have fun!

Sure thing! I'm 5 months pregnant and definately intend to go to haunted houses. The only things to really worry about are physical activities.

some haunted properties have a caution so you might not take section once you're pregnant or have a heart situation. i do not understand if it really is merely hype or if that's authentic, yet at 8 months pregnant, i'm no longer likely to take any possibilities!

Yeah you can go. At disneyland, the haunted house is one of the 5 things you can do when you are pregnant.

I would say as long as you don't fall down or do any excessive running you'll be just fine. Doctors will tell you to resume any activities you did before you were pregnant - bowling, jogging, etc.

They say you aren't supposed to get scared while you are pregnant because it will cause the baby to be jumpy, but I don't know if this is true or just and old wives tale.

there is no such thing as ghosts or haunted houses. you are only fooling and scaring yourself.
anyway, you dont want to put yourself under any extreme emotional duress during your pregnancy. if you feel you are going to be very frightened, or deathly scared, then you shouldn't go.
