but do u wait until the can is empty...or can u inhale the gas right after u open it? and how do u just inhale the gas w/o ingesting the cream?

I've been getting "nitroused" every time I go to my dentist for the last 20 years. Hasn't killed me yet.
I think the dangers are:
Like inhaling helium ballons, if you don't stop for a few breaths of real air you risk passing out, or death by suffication if you're playing with gasses in a sealed space like a car or closed room.
Of course if you lock your lips on a can and cut loose, I think you could pressurize your lungs pretty quickly and cause some serious damage, possibly resulting in death.
Those liitle Whippet cannisters they sell for making your own pressurinzed whip cream at home (yeah, right) have the gas pressurized to a liquid state. Those can freeze your lungs up real quick and *have* caused serious injury and death. Thats why they sell those little valve contraptions with the balloon that allow the nitrous to expand to a gas before use (not found on the same kind of sites that sell the N2O for homemade whipped cream).
If you like breathing nitrous while riding your motorcycle you're not long for this world, but you'll be happy at the time of your death. Even a preference for doing it while standing up can be dangerous and the frequent facial bruises and broken noses from falling down may be hard to explain.
Although I don't consider N2O to be some demon, I am proud that I managed to get the word "death" into all four of the items on my "dangers" list ;)

IF I KNEW......I WOULD NOT TELL YOU. Do you know the horrific results inhaling substances can have on your body? Life is precious....people out there fighting so hard to live and you are wanting to do something so stupid? Grow up.

tap the bottom of the can first ( it helps the whipped cream settle a bit, the keep the can upright when you push the nozzle.

keep the can upright and dont shake it..the gas is on top
