I was put on hold by a company and its been like 20 minutes. I wan't to know how long is too long?

I asked to talk to a supervisor so I can get my moneyback that they took when I still had tommorrow to disconnect?

Dude!, that's way too long. Find some alternative way to get their attention. I suggest calling them up and selecting the option for placing an order. They answer THOSE lines real fast. THEN state your complaint.

all depends what and where you call. sometimes you should just wait because hanging up then callingback could just prolong it. especially if it is a first come first serve place! I hate being on hold and yes sometimes I will hang up! Now if a friend or family member puts me on hold i hang up immediately! It pisses them off!

What company and why are you calling them? That has a lot to do with how long is too long.

They probably forgot about you. You can continue to hang, hoping they'll remember you, or call back.
