If you can feel the pedal pulse on the involved foot then it is not a circulation problem but rather a nerve involvement. The place to feel for the pulse is on the big toe side of the foot about half way between the toes and the leg. A good way to word nerve pain feeling is numbness, tingling, or for some it could be lightning stike. Either way you should see your family physician they may have a better idea about that particular problem

Circulation problems. Could be a condition called neuropathy,which means the nerve endings are damaged. Sometimes it's caused by diabetes. See your doc for a simple test
