If you mean the Birthcontrol patch then yes it could be that. Unfortunately that is one of the side effects. I also read that new studies have found an increased risk for heart attack or something like that also, can't remember for what exactly at this moment, so you may want to research it and decide if that is the form of BC you really want to use.

If its the smoking patch I have no idea sorry.

I hate to sound extrememly negative but I can't help it. The patch and any other type of birth control are horrible. I've taken it in the past and I just quit taking it in April. I was sick with headaches, nausea, hot flashes, breast tenderness, I couldnt wear my contacts or anything. I had every side effect that you could have and not die from it. Everything like the first 3 months I got rid of everything except for the headaches. I had a headache every day that i was on it and as a result anytype of tylenol or excedrin medicine dont work for me b/c my body is immune to these pills. I hate to be the barrier of bad new but I believe that people are better off taking there chances with condoms. I spent the majority of the time on birth control feeling incredibly terrible and then my body had the audacity to pick up around forty pounds>>>so do whatever"s best for you but i'm one person and after i quit birth control it caused an hormonal imbalance in my body and i didnt get a period for five months. I just started my period back last week. So best of luck to you. (sorry for ranting) I just think that i got screwed by the product.

The patch probably isnt whats giving you headaches... withdrawls are what are giving you the headaches. Its natural to have headache withdrawls as a symptom of it getting out of your system. Just take some excedrin and relax.
