If there is a lot - as in, its bright red and obviously blood, then get to your GP now. If its just a little bit, maybe a spot of blood on the toilet paper, you may have an infection. Either way, blood in your urine is not normal and you need to get it checked out.

This is called haemoglobobinurea and can br caused by infection of urinary tract, or because of high blood pressure and the kidneys loosing blood in the urine due to the high blood pressure,

Urinary tract infection, most likely a bladder infection. If you don't get it treated right away it can travel up to your kidneys. If you get a kidney infection, more than likely you will be admitted into the hospital for IV fluids to help flush them out.
Do not delay, go see your Doctor ASAP.

this is know as haematuria and is most commonly associated with urinary traact infections or kidney stones. go to your Dr and he will take a sample of urine for analysis and will decide what to do after the results come back.

Unless you've had an injury to your abdomen or lower back, it usually means that you have a bladder or kidney infection, and should see a doctor right away - they can be very dangerous if left untreated.

If you're sure it's not period then you must have a bladder or kidney infection. Go to the Dr. and drink lots of water and cranberry juice until you get there.

All the previoius answers are correct. It can also be bladder cancer, so it's nothing to mess around with. Get it checked out today.
