I have just been rooting through the bottom and I have found
t-shirts I could have sworn I had thrown away years ago!

No, I've got all sorts of stuff lurking around at the bottom of the hamper. I always sort the laundry and the stuff I don't wear very often gets tossed back in the hamper to ferment for a while longer. Sometimes it's like going shopping again when I do actually poke around in there.

Eventually through time and want to get the wash done, I get to the bottom of the dirty washing hamper. Sometimes I will find clothes at the bottom that I dont remember having. Scary. or maybe it is sad.

Miraculously yes. I hate dirty clothes to be piled up, especially if somebody puts something wet in the hamper then you've got a whole new set of problems to deal with. Now folding and putting them up that's a different story.

I have a husband and two kids. I have not seen the bottom of my clothes hamper (and frankly, I'm afraid to lol) in 8 years.

I have all the items that need to be washed separately or on gentle cycle in the bottom of the hamper....I haven't seen the bottom in months!!!!

Thanks for reminding me I really need to start laundry and it seems like I never got to the bottom. Every time I think I'm caught up and the hamper is empty I turn around and there's more clothes in it.

There are a few items that live there permanently. Except for those, yes, I reach the bottom on an almost weekly basis.

NO! LOL......I call the piled up laundry in the basement "the laundry monster" : ) When you have kids and between both parents we work 3 jobs, it NEVER ends! Glad to hear that someone else has the same dilemma! : )

I do, all the time, but I also have Obsessive Compulsive Disorder. So maybe if I didn't obsess over everything, I would be able to let dirty clothes sit in baskets. : )

Considering that I go to the laundromat, mostly yes. Sometimes there is the stray sock that gets left behind, but I try to get it all at once.
